Cosmic Blue is a small plant that has intensely leathery and satiny smooth white-backed leaves. The base color of the leaf is a dark yingeri green beneath the thick blue bloom, which gives the leaves a unique visual depth, reminiscent of the eastern sky at sunset. It has purple spider blooms and a very good growth rate. ron livingston A fast growing medium-sized plant held on strong, upright petioles that are vibrant red front and back. The red extends all the way up to the gracefully rippled bright green leaves, which come to a tapered point. It features tall, bright red flower stalks, which arch over the leaves bearing fertile purple flowers in August.

Alakazaam shows it's Atom Smasher heritage in it's intensely rippled leaves; green centered and bright yellow to cream margined. Fast growing and fertile. 
Alter Ego is a Paul's Glory hybrid, with leaf coloring that defies description. It's a medium-sized mound of intensely dimpled and currogated leaves. 
Arten is a medium-sized plant with heavily rippled, heavy substanced blue-green leaves, white backs, an upright growing habit and near-white blooms.
I don't know about you, but if I look closely, I can almost see frog princes and faeries seeking shelter under those ripples. 
Atom Smasher is a  hosta that defies standard descriptions and categories! We could say that it's a small plant with intensely rippled bright yellow leaves, and that it bears lavender flowers in August, followed by bright red and yellow pods. Fast growing, extremely fertile. It's one you truly have to see to appreciate. 
Black Mamba is a small shiny plant with green leaves which take on a golden hue in more sun. Delightful all season long, but in the sultry heat of August it will entice with a deep purple to black, glossy scape which will elongate until it shows the similarly hued bud opening up to reveal wonderfully fragrant purple flowers.

This upright plant bears large gently rippled soft blue leaves with prominantly white backs on strong outward arching petioles. 
Cardiac has soft green leaves with a waxy bloom that form deep cups, and a tendency to fold in unique ways. 
Chartreuse Fountain is (Ginko Craig x Rascal ) X yingerii. Heavy substance and again fountain form like Elvis Lives. A flowing medium sized mound of thick, smooth chartreuse leaves, with waxy purple flower scapes. 
Chartreuse Domes is an irregular mound of extremely thick and cupped, bright chartreuse leaves emerging with a thick waxy coating on their puckered surface. 
Childhood Fantasy has long intensely rippled medium bluish green waxy white-backed leaves that taper to a twisted point. Childhood Fantasy brings new meaning to the term "foliaceous bracts" with the bracts forming a large tightly formed rosette which has the appearance of a tremendous green bloom with rippled petals. 
Conquistador has deeply veined, thick powdery blue leaves, held in a unique outward and layered form. Lavender flowers. 
Curious Yellow is named for the unusual shade of gold/yellow, which is nicely contrasted by the delicate purple flowers. Sure to attract lots of attention in the garden. 
Darla, a spunky little plant has smooth narrow chartreuse leaves of heavy substance, which tend to fold in, topped with neat and sturdy scapes bearing pale flowers in July. 
Delightful is a neat mound of shiny green heart-shaped leaves. It shows it's plantaginea heritage, although it has much improved substance, with thick leathery white-backed leaves. Plantaginea has also graced this plant with it's sun-tolerance, quick growth rate and an abundance of large fragrant purple flowers in August. 
Elp features strong petioles and elongated tapered and randomly twisted leaves. This one looks like it's dancing on even the stillest, hottest days. Sure to put a smile on your face whenever you set eyes on it! It's a happy plant! 
Bright, smooth, and lots of flash, 'Elvis on Stage' truly earns it's name. It's unique long tapered and rippled leaf shape, good substance and bright coloration is certainly reminiscent of "The King" singing and swaying hips in the spotlight of a Vegas stage! 
OK, here I have to admit it. 'Exotic Presentation' has me at a loss for a description. I'd rather just sit and look at it, then try to write about it. Wouldn't you?
Fuschia Frenzy has thick frosty blue leaves on a neat and tidy mound of tapered leaves lend a serene feeling to that special spot in the garden... 
Then, prepare to be dazzled by bright purple scapes with eye-catching hot-pink bracts. Unlike some hostas, where the scapes and blooms detract from the appearance of the plant, this one presents as a lovely lady decked out in jewels for a night on the town. 
Glorious   - a small graceful plant is fast growing, has thick, smooth, bright shiny undulating leaves which turn a brilliant yellow in the sun. While the buds and bracts match the leaves in color, the base of the buds and the length of the scapes are vibrant red. Hacksaw is a small, rapidly growing plant with long narrow and tapered leaves which are intensely rippled and serrated. The leaf edge looks dangerous! Hower, I assure you that this is not a plant to actually incur damage, except perhaps on your perceptions of what might previously have been termed "hosta".
Truly ground-breaking from a genetic perspective, it's appeal as a "collector's hosta" in no way disputes it's garden worthiness. Extremely fertile both ways, sun-tolerant. An absolute "must-have". 

A nice medium green with long tapered leaves, slightly undulating margins and good substance. Plant this one in a pot on a pedestal to set off the long graceful scapes and large flowers. A cross between H.'Elvis Lives and H.'Tiny Tears' creates the perfect name of H.'Lisa Marie'. Mirage has bright satiny leaves with rippled margins, and sun tolerant, this is a worthy garden plant by any measure. Add to that, extremely rare white spider flowers, in masses, and who could ask for more?
Oh, you want the flowers to be fragrant, too?! Well, ok, you got it!
This could well be considered the perfect green hosta. 
Tropical sunsets, fruity frozen drinks with umbrellas, sand and cabanas. Warm yellow leaves, hot pink at the base of the stems, hot pink scapes, bracts and buds kissed with yellow. Pull up a beach chair and bask in the glow of Pink Flamingos! 
Self-Assured - Now this is a plant completely comfortable strutting it's stuff! Emerging blue, mellowing to green as the season wears on, it has thick leaves with a confidence no mere slug would dare dispute. Imagine the rippled edges taunting them!
