H. 'Made You Look' ('00) A Dorothy Benedict SeedlingThis Dorothy Benedict hybrid is aptly named, as it is impossible to not take notice of it, as one meanders about their garden. The 1 inch darker wavy yellow border really stands out next to the pale yellow leaves. Proper placement of this plant is essential to realize it's full potential. Rising and setting sun have worked best for me. 'Made You Look' reaches 16
in height and 34 in width here in Michigan. A Real Beauty!

H. 'Teacher's Pet' ('00) Dorothy Benedict x Hosta montana 'Teacher's Pet' combines a captivating creamy white margin with a nicely corrugated slightly shiny green leaf. Leaves are lightly wavy, broadly ovate with a cordate base. The petioles have a cream margin and the seed is viable. Near white flowers with pale lavender base arrive in mid June. This is a truly beautiful plant that has also given me a fantastic sport that I now call 'Amazing Matthew'. Attempts to tissue culture 'Teacher's Pet' have not been successful.

H. 'Unexpected Pleasure' '00 Dorothy Benedict x Hosta montana This attractive and fast growing plant has shiny ovate leaves with a 3/8 slightly rippled, creamy white margin. Unexpected Pleasure measures 20 in height and 42 in width while having up to 36 scapes that give an abundant and impressive display of near white flowers in mid July. Occasionally some leaves become streaked. Seed is viable.
