I have early childhood memories of chasing grasshoppers in sunny meadows with the flowers taller than me; of playing in the famous (and now long gone) Garden of Eden in NYC (with my parents off practicing for a gig and the Purple People kid-sitting).
The encompassing arms of Mother Nature have always been comfort and solace to me, and nurturing her soil and adding to her beauty by creating new plants is my small contribution to something much greater than all of us.
When one can combine a connection to the miracle that is our Earth with connections to others who share a common love, and nurture us in our passion, offering encouragement, support, knowledge and of course, friendship, one is truly living a great gift.
I thank my fellow Seedy friends for their part in that gift!
